Can I open a checking or savings account online?

Yes, you can open a checking account online from the comfort of your couch. Quick, easy and effortless!

What do I do if I discover fraud on my debit card?

We partner with our members to fight fraud and resolve problems. If you suspect fraudulent activity, please call 623.580.6000 during business hours.

What do I do if my debit card is lost or stolen?

If your debit card is lost or stolen, please contact us as soon as possible at 623.580.6000 and select Card Services.

How do I reorder checks?

You can easily order checks in online banking by clicking on your CashBack Checking account > Check Reorder.

What are your Checking Account fees?

If you opt-in to receive eStatements, there is no monthly fee. For members who prefer paper statements, a $2 monthly fee will be assessed to their account. The $2 monthly fee will be waived for primary members under 18 and primary members 65 and older.

How do I add a bank account from another institution?

First, make sure you're enrolled in Online Banking! Then, download our mobile app.

1. Once logged in, select Accounts.
2. Click the plus icon, then select Link an Account or Make External Transfers depending on your needs.

If you choose to link an account, you will be prompted to select or search for the financial institution you want to link to. Then, follow the prompts to sign in and link the account. 

If you choose to make an external transfer,
you will be prompted to choose the account type, enter your routing number, account number, and select a nickname for the account.

Once submitted, the verification process will begin. To verify the account, we send two small deposits which take approximately 2-3 business days to arrive. Once you receive the trial deposits, you need to log back into your Copper State CU online banking, click confirm on the pending account, and enter the deposit amounts. After this is confirmed, you can transfer to and from your external accounts.

What do I need to open a Checking Account in-person or online?
  1.  Must be 18 years or older
  2.  Have a Savings Account by meeting the guidelines for membership
  3.  A primary form of identification such as a state-issued driver's license or ID card, military ID or dependent ID, government-issued ID, passport, matricula consular card, student ID, birth certificate, or social security card
  4.  A minimum opening deposit of $25
  5.  Proof of address
